Monthly Missing Persons Missive | Do you need more? Is there something else you're searching for?

Dear FOQ
How are we all?

I know. It's been ages.

I don't know what to say apart from, all that walking has wiped me out of energy and bloggable material, and the mojo has gone AWOL yet again.

I've also just managed to break a casserole pan thus perpetuating the belief that I really shouldn't ever cook because disaster that way lies; have remedied the situation somewhat but this, my friends, is why I buy ready meals because actual cooking involves liability that quite frankly I'm not always up to accepting.

But I did make a very nice gnocchi traybake last night so perhaps I'm not entirely hopeless.

Anyway, back to the blog at hand.

I have so much to report, it's just a matter of consolidating all of the recent events – trip back to the Wye Valley, dancing like Molly Ringwald at another 80s night, harbouring many, many feelings about A Star is Born and many slightly distraught feelings about Thirteen Reasons Why (notably that when a teenager in the series classes Strictly Ballroom as an 'old movie' you know that you, too, are old) – but it's getting up the energy and motivation to construct all these things into a blog, while also trying to reassemble one's life in a Post-Long-Distance-Walking Flux State.

But I'll get there. We're nearly at the end of the year (sorry, but let's face it, we are); so perhaps another re-evaluation of how best to make this blog work is due.

Until then ...

Please enjoy this clip of 'Shallow' from A Star is Born, about which I am obsessed. (I loved it. Loved it. Still can't stop thinking about it. Preferred it to The Greatest Showman. I know. Controversial.)

Oh, Lady Gaga, breaking us every heckin' time.

qb xx
